About Us
The DU Mental Health and Wellness Collaborative uses a community-engaged approach to build a model aimed at:
- Increasing access to and quality of mental health services for underserved communities
- Advancing innovative practices through applied mental health research
- Informing mental health policy via translation and integration built from our research and practice expertise
- Enhancing learning/training opportunities for an improved interprofessional mental health workforce
“The Collaborative” is comprised of a group of faculty and students who are committed to connecting Coloradans to mental health resources. Our experts come from many units at the University of Denver, including the Graduate School of Professional Psychology (GSPP), the Graduate School of Social Work (GSSW), the Department of Psychology, and the Morgridge College of Education (COE). We believe interprofessional teams are best able to address mental health challenges!
